It is a pleasure for me to write a testimonial about my daughter’s journey at Invisible Crown. Our Journey at IC resonated well with us and at a personal level. The positive Impact the school had on my daughter at a fairly early stage in life, makes me hold the School close to my heart.
Sasha Joined IC in 2016 to pursue dance at an exceedingly difficult time in both our lives. Her passion for ballet was overwhelming and we strived to balancing her Ballet lessons with her mainstream academics. We had lost her mother earlier who was passionate about Sasha’s talent development. We simply had to continue, and we signed up at Invisible Crown at a challenging time emotionally and financially. The greatest realization was how they included the 5 attributes in talent development.
The founder of IC constantly emphasized on overall growth, not only technical growth and showed commitment to accomplish this in her school. Sasha’s passion for dance and her stint at Invisible Crown ‘opened’ her up from being a little timid to a self-assured girl. Her self-esteem has been brought forth to a whole new level. I am grateful for the flexibility that IC provided with time to accommodate our Sabbath and payment plans to accommodate the rough patch at the time. Thank You for the ‘Invisible Crown’ Sasha will proudly wear as she grows up and use the virtues she learnt while at the school. 
Our interactions with IC spanned about 5 wonderful years.
Our daughter Jewell did have a deep interest in music and the arts so IC naturally provided a wonderful space for to her explore, expand and thrive in these areas of interest.
Her courage and confidence rose several notches higher especially during the numerous shows and concerts IC organized where Jewell and her classmates showcased what they had learned in Performing Arts.
All round discipline was well taught at Invisible Crown and Jewell picked up this lesson beautifully. Jewell learnt the discipline of being on time for class, to the discipline of following and remembering the teachers’ instructions to the discipline of being a team player.
The Founder of IC was gracious enough to give more than just class advice but stepped up to being a friend and students mentor whose wisdom greatly complimented parental guidance.
My son Telo attended Invisible Crown for three years from age 4 to age 6; while at Invisible Crown he grew in courage and discipline, not only in the area of his creative gifting in the performing arts but this translated to other areas of his life, especially in school.
In 2018, at the age of 5, Telo learnt to overcome fear and performed in front of a crowd for the first time; an experience etched in his memory that helps him to this day have confidence and courage to always step out and try new things. In a new school and new environment presently, he will willingly volunteer to try out new things which is commendable.
Invisible crown provided a nurturing enabling environment that helped Telo grow in discipline and self-assurance as well. His teachers encouraged him to appreciate the discipline of hard work and consistency in nurturing his talent to a level of excellence.
Nothing can be more satisfying to a human being than being able to do something rewarding for yourself. For over 5 years at Invisible Crown, I watched my two children start off as beginners in learning a skill and have to work at it day in day out. They learnt how to do things for themselves.
I watched them learn the power of being consistent, of working hard, putting in extra work, facing their fears and eventually growing. At Invisible Crown, I watched them learn that to fail once is not to fail for good that you can fail and rise up and conquer. They learned to be creative, to be imaginative, to develop something out of nothing and to come up with solutions to problems. To dream big.
To look at where they want to be and come up with a road map to that place however small. Thank you, Invisible Crown.
Ian’s major gains from Invisible Crown’s Public Speaking program was confidence, eloquence, and social skills.
I will share my testimonial in reference to all the 5 attributes of Invisible Crown.
Poise: Ian is more composed now while handling his duties. No more rushed activities, and he is more systematic.
Creativity: We saw a bit of creativity in the way he organized and planned his work and family activities. However, there is room for improvement. We hope to continue work here when he resumes.
Courage: This was mainly observed during an IC event where he was the Co-MC. It actually took us by surprise because we had not seen so much confidence before.
Self-Assurance: We saw more of self-awareness when he joined the school. He became firmer in his decisions/ opinions and his choices. I believe the social interactions at IC with other kids really contributed to this. Nowadays, Ian doesn’t shy away from expressing himself!
Discipline: Overall discipline really improved during the times he attended IC, more specifically on time keeping, issues on school and homework reduced to almost zero complaints. This we have seen even after he joined boarding school.
I had My Son and Daughter at Invisible Crown.
My daughter grew so much at Invisible Crown. Exploring her creative side in performing arts and particularly excelled at acting. She was great at various art forms and did us really proud. She found a platform to be fully expressive.
My son, who was a very shy little boy, positively built his confidence and his love of drumbeats. He would be in tears if we couldn’t get him to class. Year after year, he improved his skills and was elated when he performed a drum solo at one of IC’s events.
Both my children gained so much from being at Invisible Crown, so much so that even when we moved to Rongai in Kajiado, we kept them going. The experience left them with a voice and an opportunity to artistically express themselves. Their skills transferred to their school experience where they often rise up to take part in leading or performing opportunities. The investment goes beyond the talent they are learning, we witnessed an elevated sense of being, making them incredibly happy and adjusted kids.
While at Invisible Crown, I grew in Discipline and Self-assurance. I learnt the Discipline of working hard to develop my talents in music. I also have more Courage to try out new things at my new school.
At Invisible Crown, I learned how to best use my gift and to accomplish challenging things but all the while having fun and learning how to love people.
While at Invisible Crown I met lots of different people with different personalities. I learnt how to interact well with them and to be more expressive
At Invisible Crown I grew in my courage so much. I was even able to co-host an event as an emcee. I grew to love public speaking, to be more open and to be courageous. I will never take this for granted.
At Invisible Crown I learnt about Courage, the ability and importance of putting myself out there even when I get cold feet.
While at Invisible Crown, my self-esteem grew very much both on-stage and off stage. I will proudly wear the attributes that I learnt Courage, Creativity and Self-assurance. I am more confident now.
While at invisible Crown, I learnt to be creative when I would create my own dances. I inspired my friends at school and would perform often. I also learnt about what discipline is.
I learnt how to artistically express myself at Invisible Crown. I was a little shy, but this helped me in school where I often rise up to take part in school activities, lead a class or perform at school events. I also grew as a drummer and made friends!
